In this cookbook, we will make it all about sandwiches. Everyone loves sandwiches! Warm, baked, toasted, grilled, pressed, with melted cheese and plenty of other toppings or not. The options are unlimited.
As with any other cookbook, we all agree here to let you be the ultimate captain of this journey. We are presenting with the idea of recipes we know are delicious because we have prepared them, adjusted them, and tried them. We have enjoyed them, one bite at a time, and then most of them tweak to make them even better next time we prepare them.
We have collected in this book what we think is the best of the best when it comes to hot or warm sandwiches. You can substitute the type of bread you will use, the cheese you will melt, perhaps even some of the meats or toppings. However, we suggest you try them as is first. These all have been proven to be delicious, so why temper with them, right?
We will often suggest using the oven to finish off the sandwiches, melt the cheese, or toast the bread. However, we all agree that at times, especially if you are making only one or two sandwiches at a time, you do not need to turn on the oven. You can use a small toaster oven just as well.
We will also suggest you equip yourself with a panini’s press if you would like to obtain that pressed sandwiches’ result, which can be amazing, I have to say. I love making the Cuban-style pressed sandwiches or the veggies and melted provolone paninis for y vegetarian friends.
