BDE Paradox Alternative

I have quit a big application running with paradox BDE multi use application, done in delphi 2007.

I want to move to DELPHI XE10 and to a new database with minimal work converting from DBE to the new database, but would also like better speed and multi user support.

I have been investigating but I run into conflicting info.

So any suggestions ?

Paradox not suitable for "big" application. Normally it replacement with SQLite or Absolute Database. But my suggestion is Firebird. There have some converting tools in this forum.

Absolute Database I see has quite close to DBE Paradox components, what components would you suggest I should use to be able to convert to Firebird as quick as possible.

It seems to me you will approach Firebird

I think about Firebird too. Last version of Delphi has FireDAC. It's so easy like FIBPlus for working with Firebird.

Firebird is cool solution and better than other.
