Google is working on a new logo for its email service Gmail. The company has Для просмотра ссылки Войдиили Зарегистрируйся giving a glimpse in what can be expected. Google has also Для просмотра ссылки Войди или Зарегистрируйся that the image is real. This follows the Gmail overhaul for G Suite customers, which started rolling out to end users last month.
The purported logo still appears to be under construction. The black-and-white image shows the envelope icon being replaced with the letter 'M' with rounded corners. With video-conferencing features like Google Meet getting integrated with Gmail, it makes sense to not portray the service merely as an email platform.
The final version is expected to move away from the existing red-and-white color scheme and follow the four-color scheme (blue, green, yellow, and red) instead, one that Google has been adapting lately for all its products and services, including Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Photos.
Google generally accompanies new logos with broader changes and service upgrades, so it is not a stretch to assume that Gmail may also get new features and improvements whenever this logo becomes official.
