As her emotions lean toward excitement, Ricky becomes withdrawn, causing their fight to escalate. With their arguing starting to affect their son, the two must re-examine if living together is the right thing to do. Meanwhile, Ben continues to look for a way out of his marriage, and Adrian may have just given him one. In a test to see if Ben still loves her, Adrian tells him she wants to go to cosmetology school in New York. Ben tells her to go, leaving Adrian to think of taking desperate measures to keep the marriage intact.
