Apple's executive team is getting Для просмотра ссылки Войди или Зарегистрируйсяtoday with Phil Schiller, who has served as the company's vice president for Worldwide Marketing, is transitioning to a new role as Apple Fellow. He will be replaced in his previous role by Greg Joswiak, who has been at Apple for over 20 years and served as vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing - yes, that's a separate division - for the past four years.

Phil Schiller first joined Apple in 1987, and after leaving the company for a while, re-joined the company as part of its executive team in 1997. Apple credits Schiller with helping to create the Mac, iTunes, iPod, iPhone, iPad, and the App Store. He also recently led Apple's effort in transitioning WWDC to a virtual format. As Apple Fellow, Schiller will continue to lead the App Store and Apple Events teams.

In a statement, Phil Schiller said that the new role will allow him to focus on other projects, including personal ones, but that he will stay with Apple as long as possible:
“I first started at Apple when I was 27, this year I turned 60 and it is time for some planned changes in my life. I’ll keep working here as long as they will have me, I bleed six colors, but I also want to make some time in the years ahead for my family, friends, and a few personal projects I care deeply about.”
In his time at Apple, Joswiak has overseen marketing and management of many products, including the iPhone and iPod. Apple's CEO, Tim Cook, commented on the transition saying: "I’m thrilled that the whole executive team will benefit from his collaboration, ideas, and energy."
