Today at IFA, Nvidia is announcing its GeForce RTX 30 Series GPUs, which means that it's time for companies to announce products with the new silicon. Acer is among the first on-board, promising that its Predator Orion 3000, 5000, and 9000 are all going to get the RTX 3000 treatment.
This is the second generation of Nvidia's RTX branding, which means that they support things like real-time ray tracing and deep-learning super sampling (DLSS). At the top of the lineup is a new RTX 3090 GPU, which has a 1,725MHz clock speed and 24GB of GDDR6X memory, as was previously leaked. For the regular RTX 3080, it comes with a 1,740MHz clock speed and 10GB GDDR6X memory. As usual, these GPUs have three DisplayPort ports, and they each have an HDMI 2.0 port.
Acer also announced some more details on its Predator X25 gaming monitor, which was announced in June and sports a 360Hz refresh rate. It comes with a new tool from Nvidia called Reflex Latency Analyzer, which is a latency measurement tool that will give you insights into your keyboard, mouse, PC, and display to see what's causing latency.
The company didn't provide any additional details as to when these products will ship, but with holiday season around the corner, it will likely be soon.
